SYSTEM INTEGRATION

lead by example

WCA has the resources to deliver complex projects, utilising a highly skilled team with a range of disciplines.

Successful system integration (“SI”) results from a combination of structured implementation of the project activities, allied to well managed systems engineering. Therefore, if the user requirements, requirements definition, functional analysis, interface definition, life cycle integration, system implementation, risk management, testing and deployment are managed within a formal project framework, the system integration should be delivered on time and within the agreed budget.

Why do SI projects usually fail?

Our experience suggests that for these projects to be delivered successfully a solid mix of integration skills and experience is required. The use of appropriate formalised project management skills and experience of integration projects at an appropriate size need to be allied to a solid technical understanding of what is required and being said by vendors or IT.

It would be highly unusual to find such a mix of competence in an individual.

What do we do to make sure your Integration Project Succeeds?

The unrivalled collaborative model adopted by WCA and ProjExc means that the right blend of these essential competences is available when they are needed, but not charged when they are not. The technology capabilities and system understanding is available from WCA, whilst appropriate project management expertise in this environment is available from John Williams’ ProjExc business. Together we are able to reduce your project delivery costs and maximise the efficiency of deployment.
